La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa
La Quinta Golf & Country Club is one of the most active golf complexes in the Costa del sol. Designed by Manuel Piñero and Antonio García Garrido, the layout was done following rational criteria and thinking about the commodity of the player, design that develops thanks to the attentive supervision and recommendations of Manolo Piñero. The difficulty of the route is specially centred in the design of the fairways and greens, which are well protected by the deep bunkers, dangerous falls and various possibilities in the flag position. The addition of 9 holes added to the original 18, has made it possible to create various playing combinations. The course, situated in the well known Marbella Golf Valley, has great drops in some of the fairways. La Quinta Club House stands out for the attentive architecture and exquisite decoration. For many years, the Club has received the Pro-Am Protagonistas, backed by the journalist Luis del Olmo and visited by many famous personalities of the Spanish social life.
The social life in La Quinta has its centre in the Club House, with a restaurant, bar and café, as well as, banquet and private rooms for meetings and congresses. Its large terrace, where you can sit in the sun all year long, has wonderful views open to the admiration of all visitors.
